Partnerships

Forming development partnerships is a very powerful structure, provided you know what you are doing.

Put simply, it is an arrangement between two (or more) partners to co-operate together in order to achieve a common set of goals, outcomes or objectives. When used effectively it can provide significant value for all parties involved, through sharing and spreading risk and reward, unlocking development sites, which otherwise would be undeliverable, and accessing specialist skills which in different circumstances would be unavailable.

Working with Kyme Homes was a pleasure from start to finish. Nick and Dom were always friendly, professional and trustworthy which is a tricky balance. Entering into a Partnership with Kyme Homes allowed us, as the land owner, to maximise the land’s potential, something that we would have lost if just selling with planning. We cannot speak highly enough of Kyme Homes; they took a portion of our garden and with the minimum of fuss built a stunning 4-house development which we can all be proud of. Thanks

Types of Partnerships which Kyme Homes maybe involved with include:

  • Partnering with land owners who want to share part of the risk of the development process in return for a potentially greater reward than they might otherwise expect by selling land to a builder. This is the structure Kyme Homes is most likely to find themselves in.

  • Partnering with property developers who are inexperienced in new house building and not confident of delivering the ‘market’ and ultimately buyers a home that people want to live in.

  • You might be surprised but partnering with other house-builders on a site where each company’s offer compliments the other, and adds ‘value’ to the overall development site rather than brings an element of competition.

There maybe other scenarios where Kyme Homes would consider partnership working, and we encourage you to get in touch, with any opportunities you wish to explore.
